Gabriele Tessaro

Inspired by Gabriele Musebrink, I have found access to old and traditional materials. Her technique fascinates me all over again. I often carry her book "Charging Discharge" and the work of Kurt Wehlte "Materials and Techniques of Painting" in my hand luggage and read in them for hours. In the search for ideas to combine materials in new variants, both artists serve me as a guide or recipe. The mediated knowledge helps me to bring my work to life and to pass these emotions on to my students. My studio basically transforms into art oasis.
